Airlines have their own carrier size limits, health certificate requirements, and breed restrictions (especially for brachycephalic/flat-faced breeds in cargo). Check your specific airline's pet policy at least a few weeks before flying, and confirm health certificate timing with your vet — most are only valid for 10 days before travel.
